The Right Controls for Your Material Handling Needs

For new material handling equipment or refurbishment of your existing cranes and hoists, we offer a variety of control methods and options.

Even when we use standard two speed hoisting and traverse motions controlled from a push button pendant or cab, there's nothing standard about the way we do it. Separate main and creep motors allow a 10:1 speed range on most hoisting applications. The KB Conical Rotor Brake Motor is the most reliable brake motor used in crane and hoist applications. The light weight, ergonomic push button pendants are mounted on an independent festoon track, giving the operator greater freedom to move about the load. Enclosed cabs sport a swivel captain's chair with optional air conditioning and heating,  dst.gif (20425 bytes)
When two speeds just aren't enough, or when your application requires extra fine load positioning, Power Electronic and Electromotive Variable Frequency Drives can be used. Open and closed loop systems with a variety of functions and features can be  controlled via a push button pendant, radio, or a computer/PLC for automated systems.

When a pendant or cab is not practical, we can outfit your crane with a state-of-the-art digital radio or infra-red remote control system. Licensed and non-licensed units are available with a choice of functions and transmitters.  kbkergosmall.gif (18645 bytes)
